SqueeSAR™ remotely monitors the stability of wellheads and above- and below-ground pipelines.

Wellheads and pipeline networks are susceptible to damage from localized ground movement. Remotely acquired SqueeSAR™ data can be used to assess potential risk to infrastructure without the need to install ground-based instruments.

Network Stability
The structural stability of pipelines and surrounding corridors ranging in length from hundreds to thousands of kilometers long can be assessed using SqueeSAR™. Measured to millimeter accuracy, ground deformation maps provide engineers with a system for monitoring pipeline integrity.

Route Planning
Historic radar imagery can be used to reconstruct past patterns of ground movement, providing maps of ground stability for pipeline route planning. Reconstruction of past ground movement allows unstable areas to be identified and avoided.

Remote Measurements
Displacement maps are produced by processing radar satellite images, acquired remotely at regular time intervals, reducing the need for in-situ instrumentation and frequent site surveys.

This technique is ideal for operations in inaccessible and unsafe areas.
