Data Center
The Data Processing Centre has been expressly designed and built in order to cope with the large amount of data requested for InSAR and PSInSAR™ processing allowing high performances, security and scalability for future needs.
The selected architecture consists of a cluster for parallel processing based on Linux operative system. It is made up of 68 CPU (136 cores) working in parallel for data processing and 10 CPU for interactive session management.
The Data Storage Centre has a capacity of 41 TByte and is accessed from the Processing Centre via two shared file systems based on two different connecting technologies
(fiber channel and gigabit ethernet with bandwidth aggregation).
