Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) Monitoring

Our measurements offer cost-effective, millimetre-precision monitoring of ground displacements occurring over active oil and gas fields, on thousands of ground locations. 

Our measurements complement traditional ground-based surveys, however offer coverage on a significantly larger scale, often for a fraction of the cost.

The measurement of vertical and east-west ground displacement patterns give us a unique insight into the structural geology of the reservoir, highlighting the location of active faults, fractures, potential fluid leakages and fluid-flow migration. Constant monitoring of worked fields significantly aids our clients’ development of effective extraction/injection strategies: combining our data with conventional ground based surveys allows the determination of pressure distribution within the reservoir – a valuable tool for determining the permeability of the reservoir.

Updates are regularly delivered to our clients, enabling engineers to constantly optimize production rates, identify and take remedial action against potential problems before they threaten production. 
Global historical archives are also available, which can be analyzed and exploited to further highlight past trends.
