The EAGE (European Association of Geoscientists & Engineers) Annual Conference & Exhibition is the largest geoscience and engineering conference and exhibition in Europe.
The theme for the congress will be “Leveraging Technology”. It highlights the need for innovation and continuous technological development to meet new challenges and new requirements.

"A View from Space - Near-Surface Characterization from Remote Sensing" - Convenors: Andreas Laake (WesternGeco), Fabio Rocca (POLIMI and TRE) & Aldo Vesnaver (OGS) - on Monday 9 June, 09.00 - 16.00 hrs.

The main goal of the workshop is an inter-disciplinary exchange of technology and experiences among geologists, geophysicists in both near-surface and hydrocarbon applications and remote sensing scientists.
