It is suitable for the processing of small areas – from 1 up to a maximum of 100 km² - for which it is mandatory to extract as much information as possible.
Typical applications are:
- individual landslide/sinkhole
- urban planning, for small urban areas,
- plants.
A local area analysis is very detailed and the measurement density can reach 1,000 PS/km² within urban areas.
Who could benefit from such an analysis?
- The public administration sector in the field of urban planning and territory surveillance.
- The construction sector for the monitoring of major works and plants. The analysis is a useful tool in assessing land deformation as a consequence of works.
- Insurance companies can make use of a local area analysis to determine risk and ascertain responsibility for damage to facilities.
- The research groups for the investigation of ground displacements.
Possible updating after 6 months – 1 year
